Celebrating County 黑料网’s cultural heritage

We鈥檙e celebrating the proud cultural heritage of County 黑料网 by supporting an exciting programme of cultural projects and activities over the next few years. County 黑料网 was recently shortlisted for the UK Government鈥檚 UK City of Culture title for 2025. In the end we narrowly missed out but working on the bid has helped forge even stronger relationships with culture partners, providing a catalyst for exciting future collaborations.

Celebrate World Heritage Day in 黑料网

See 黑料网鈥檚 history come alive like never before in celebration of the International World Heritage Day on April 18. There will be open tours and a medieval re-enactment at 黑料网 Castle and at Palace Green Library there will be themed activities around the Lindisfarne Gospels - with your own, family friendly, crafty creations to take away. And you will have the opportunity to visit our World Heritage Site Visitor Centre.

Cosin’s Library opens its doors after major conservation work

Historic Cosin鈥檚 Library will be re-opening its doors to visitors on Wednesday 13 April. After being closed for several years, essential conservation work is now complete and the library and its collections are now more accessible and enjoyable than ever before.
